Is That Love?
She handed the young, Aids patient the drawing, she’d made.
He moved his mother’s belongings into the cottage, he’d purchased for her.
She placed the flowers on her neighbors front porch.
He wrote the check.
She delivered the meal and went home and made another.
He scheduled the repairs.
She stayed late and wiped her friends tears.
He carried the woman’s bags to the car.
She invited the teenager to join them.
He slowed down and let the car merge.
She told the entire truth.
He heard from his heart.
She gushed compliments.
He whispered, “Sorry”.
She said, “Thank you.”
And love grew …
