Is It Time To Hit Reset?

Is It Time To Hit Reset?

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing,” Victor Frankl wrote in Man’s Search for Meaning, “the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

Attitude. It’s the ultimate freedom. I an no one else is responsible for how I choose to be…

I cannot possibly control all of life…not even a smidgeon of it. But my attitude, my way of responding…my way – the way I choose to act and believe…that is entirely within my control- it’s my greatest freedom. What I believe. Who I be. And my attitude…

Perhaps you need a little more beauty…

Perhaps you need remember simple pleasures….

Perhaps you need to get off the beaten track…

Perhaps you need to hit reset..

God promises to walk with you – but he’s not responsible for what you choose to believe or the attitude you and I embrace along the way.

Start over. Begin fresh. Count your blessings. Make a gratitude list. And then exhale and join me in remembering – we are free. Free to choose how we will respond to the victories, defeats, beauty and pain.  Free to choose our way of being in all circumstances.

Freedom. Attitude freedom. It may be our most humungous responsibility of all…

Reset. Pray. And feel the love of God as he embraces you in this moment and empowers you to choose…what attitude you want to manifest in this life of yours.

Thank you God for the freedom to choose my attitude to choose my way…and give me the courage to choose the way of love, kindness, empathy, compassion and forgiveness…Today. Oh dear Lord…help me hit reset when my attitude gets all poor me and negative.

Every day I get up expecting a miracle or ten thousand. Mostly I expect God to take the questions of life and turn them into soulful inspiration to encourage you and I on this journey. That's why I'm here. I believe in the miracles that faith, love and hope make possible.
