All works of art question themselves. Yes, masterpieces are all the same. Created to reflect the glory of all that is divine they fear sharing themselves for fear of rejection.
And so instead of each masterpiece and their art beautifying this world, masterpieces like you hide your art away arguing it’s not quite ready for the world, not quite yet perfect and in need of much correction and editing.
The problem is of course , it will never meet your satisfaction and never be quite perfect enough to share and this my darling masterpiece is the tragedy of all life. Art not shared. Masterpieces that refuse to manifest their beauty for fear of what might be said or even that they may be rejected.
I want you to forget about the accolades, publishers, the critics and naysayers. I want you to forget about the false starts, blank canvases and the crumpled works of just began art. Life is this way, not entirely perfect, mostly re-do’s and corrections and still beautiful and inspiring.
Embrace your truth. Every thing you’ve created with this life of yours; the good and bad – all manifest your journey. I brought you to this planet for exactly this purpose- to manifest your art. Of course some of it is dark and foreboding and still other pieces light and full of energy.
Regardless of the flub ups, the empty canvases and the pieces you hope no one ever attributes to your name – I find each day and every work you’ve ever created beautiful in some way. Now, please dear child- understand you are a masterpiece and every work you create is a work of art meant to be shared with others and to light this world aflame with beauty.
You Are A Masterpiece
